Join DUPO for their season opening concert in collaboration with the Durham Opera Ensemble as they showcase Opera’s most beloved repertoire throughout history
Anthony Sutch conducts a dazzling array of arias, duets and quartets from world-renowned operas composed by the likes of Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Bizet and others. The cast also come together to sing some of the great choruses from the operatic repertory. Opening each half of the concert, the Palatinate Orchestra play Rossini’s ‘Barber of Seville Overture’ and ‘March of the Toreadors’ from Carmen.
